I smoked 10 cigarettes a day for 20 years and now I have been Smokefree for one year! The main reason I decided to stop smoking was for my health as I suffer with asthma. Finance was another reason as cigarettes are too expensive!

Quitting wasn’t easy, I had a few hiccups along the way but I managed to keep going and got there in the end. I attend the Princes Park session where I see my advisor Amel. I have used patches to quit and they have been great, I don’t think I could have done it without them.

The main benefits I have found since quitting smoking are;

  • I have a lot more money.
  • My health has improved.
  • My lifestyle has improved, I feel much fitter and less breathless.
  • I am just a lot happier!

If you are serious about quitting, just do it and persevere at challenging times as this will pass. Also, contact Smokefree Liverpool for support and encouragement. 😊
